GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These general terms and conditions automatically govern all sales of holidays. All customers acknowledge that they have read and understood these terms and conditions.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

1 - Option

Your option is valid for eight days (or less, as specified in the letter if applicable), during which time you must send us your booking confirmation and deposit. If we do not receive confirmation within eight days, the option will be cancelled without any further action on our part.

2 - Price and payment

The price of the holiday is quoted in euros, including VAT. The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 1 month before the first day of rental.

3 - Booking changes

In the event of early departure or late arrival, no refund will be given, and the full amount of the stay, whether camping or accommodation, will be due.

More than 16 days before check-in : 25% of the total cost of the stay + €30 administration fee will be retained.
Less than 16 days before check-in : the total amount of the stay + €30 booking fee will be retained.

With the Cancellation Guarantee
(see below) at the time of booking

More than 16 days before check-in: 25% of the total cost of the stay + €30 administration fee will be retained.

Less than 16 days before check-in and up to 48 hours before arrival: the total amount of the stay + €30 booking fee will be retained.

Less than 48 hours before arrival and without presentation of valid proof (medical certificate, medical imperatives, reasons linked to shipping companies, etc.): 25% of the total cost of the stay will be retained + €30 administration fee.

You can change or postpone your stay free of charge. In the event of cancellation, all sums paid will be refunded, with the exception of the booking fee (€30) and the amount of the cancellation guarantee.

Less than 48 hours before arrival and without presentation of valid proof (medical certificate, medical imperatives, reasons linked to the shipping companies, etc.): 25% of the total amount of the stay + €30 handling fee will be retained.

In the event of cancellation by the company managing the centre, except in cases of force majeure, the customer will be reimbursed for all sums paid. All reservations are for a type of accommodation or pitch and not for a bungalow or pitch number. An allocated accommodation or pitch number may therefore be changed between booking and check-in, and this cannot give rise to any compensation.

5 - Cancellation Guarantee

We advise you to take out a cancellation guarantee at the time of booking by sending us an amount equivalent to 2% of the total cost of your stay (excluding eco-participation and booking fees) with a minimum of 20 euros. This guarantee allows you to change or postpone your stay free of charge. In the event of cancellation, this guarantee entitles you to a full refund of the sums paid, with the exception of the booking fee (€30) and the cost of the cancellation guarantee. All cancellations must be notified in writing.

6 - Withdrawal

The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the event of distance selling as set out in the Consumer Code do not apply to tourist services (article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code). Therefore, for any order for a holiday with the Domaine de Riva Bella, the customer has no right of withdrawal.

7 - Animals

Dogs are allowed inside the Riva Bella Estate but must be kept on a lead and their droppings must be picked up.

Rules and regulations

As required by law, you must adhere to our house rules, which have been filed with the prefecture, are displayed in our reception area and a copy will be given to you on request. The management reserves the right to refuse access to or exclude anyone whose behaviour does not comply with naturist criteria. The entire beach is exclusively naturist for all adults. This nudity requirement does not apply to children or teenagers if their modesty prevents them from doing so. Photos and films are not permitted without the permission of the persons in the angle of view. The management reserves the right to confiscate the image medium in the event of infringement. At the Bar-Restaurant and Self-Service, it is advisable to be dressed.

Check-in is from 4pm and check-out no later than 10am. Access to the site is possible from 7am and departure at the end of the day.

Traffic inside the estate is limited to 10km/h. Traffic on the estate is prohibited from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Please park in the car park at the entrance. Under no circumstances may vehicles be parked close to the bungalows or outside the parking areas.

Noise/tense: avoid any noise that might disturb neighbours from 10pm onwards (motor, television, radio, etc.). Complete silence between 11pm and 7am.

All bookings are for a type of accommodation or pitch and not for a bungalow or pitch number. An allocated accommodation or pitch number may therefore be changed between booking and check-in, and this cannot give rise to any compensation.

Insurance

It is the customer's responsibility to take out insurance. The Domaine de Riva Bella declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, incidents involving the customer's civil liability, damage due to falling branches, natural disasters, theft by burglary and glass breakage.

Disputes

If you have a dispute with our establishment, you can contact us as follows:

- Send a letter by recorded delivery with acknowledgement of receipt to the village manager.

- Send a copy of this letter to Customer Services at: rivabella.corsica@gmail.com If you are not satisfied with the response, you can refer the matter to the Medicys Mediation Centre, after a period of one month following the sending of these letters/emails. You must submit your case by post to: Medicys -73 Boulevard de Clichy -75009 PARIS.

Users' rights

Users are hereby informed that, in accordance with the French Data Protection Act, they have the right to access, update, rectify and delete their personal data at any time by sending a request (indicating precisely the purpose of the request) by Internet to the following address: rivabella.corsica@gmail.com or by post to the following address: Riva Bella Thalasso & Spa Resort 20270 Aléria. Riva Bella undertakes to process your request within seven working days. Users are informed that, in accordance with the French Data Protection Act, they have the right at any time to object, on legitimate grounds, to personal data concerning them being processed.
